Awarded "Top Photo Site of the Week" for the week of 30 May 1999 by The Stock Solution.
"Our staff considers your site to be among the top five percent of the Web sites on the Internet in terms of quality photography."

* Totally Killer Site Award from ReallyBig.com

Qualifications:
"Our Totally KILLER SITE award is presented to those sites that demonstrate excellence in overall design, user interface and content.
To be considered for this award, a website must evince a high degree of thoughtfulness in its design and ease of navigation, behave in a manner appropriate to its content, clearly communicate its purpose, and have that 'Killer Look.' "

Reallybig's Site Review:

We know we want to be here as we enter this spacious, quiet place. Unobtrusive signs hang on crisply clean white walls to gently guide us from one stunning display to another. These designers provide us with that sense of peace and beauty usually found in fine art museums.

The first considerations of a good web design team are: "What is the purpose of this site? Who is the audience? What are we, and the client, attempting to accomplish?" Without a clear vision, all is lost. This team successfully developed that essential vision which establishes the identity of this top-notch fine art photographer, David Michael Kennedy.

What these designers chose not to use is as important as their careful choice of low-key, understated elements. Metaphors were not chosen so as not to distract from the photo images. Hi-tech navigation or movement of any type would have only been an annoyance, so simple text images rendered in a high-brow font were used instead.

This site is a Killer because the design team knew when to step away; when you visit, the content will be all you notice.

This is a rare site to find. What an overwhelmingly gorgeous site. This is one that you cannot miss. Layout, design, speed, elegance and impeccable images only begin to tell the story. There is a wonderful tour to take regarding the American Indian dancers that has great stories along with the images. Absolutely breathtaking. This is what eGalleries are about, the blending of the printed art and the electronic technology.
